This is a nice little park to take your kids to and have some fun, swings, tennis courts, jungle gyms, big open field area- ☆But please know this is slightly secluded place and during the day can get a little sketchy... Do have fun, but head on a swivel.

Love this park! Has two sections, with the newest designed for toddlers. Plenty of shade and TWO swing sets (one has infant seats). Really had a great time with my toddlers.

At least 6 swings, 7 slides, and a see-saw are available. There are several picnic party tables under a cover, too. It's not crowded, even on weekends. It is well-shaded

Nice playground and picnic area. Picnic area can be reserved which is a nicely and conveniently placed right next to the playground. Also to the other side is a big beautiful open space great for running around or playing soccer. Keep in mind there maybe be some soccer games happening in the early AM but it is distanced enough to not interrupt the party gazebo/picnic area and playground. They also have very clean porta potties and a throne

This park was a great accidental find. We were at GMU to pick up our "Cache of the Day” on a Wednesday morning in May and decided to get our 4000 steps in the beautiful neighborhood across University Drive. As we walked the neighborhood we saw a path that led to Providence Park. What a nice surprise. We even met a couple of super friendly neighborhood dogs in the park. There are trails for hiking and strolling, and nice playground equipment, and a picnic pavilion, tennis courts, and an open field and a parking lot. What more could you want?
